The Dentist

This is why I like observing people. The other, I had gone to the dentist. There was this girl, who was acting pretty strange around. She was restless and kept looking for ways to enter the main room. She sat in the waiting room for about 15 minutes since I had seen her. She called her lecturer and said that she has been waiting past one and a half hour and has still not received the toolbox she came to collect. She was furious at her sir she was talking to over the phone. She walked up to the receptionist and said that her sir wants to speak with her. The receptionist readily agreed and told the man on the phone that she will give the toolbox after the present patient comes out.
The girl got her turn and took the toolbox. The receptionist stopped her to go out of the clinic. She said, “I need your details before you leave.”
The girl said, “I stay right here and it’s getting pretty late now.” And she left.

Immediately after the girl left, there was another girl who entered and said to the receptionist, “I am here to collect the toolbox.”
The receptionist said that someone had already taken it just before you came. The girl asked who was that previous girl. On not having an answer, the receptionist told her how she looks and that she was saying Arjun sir several times on the call. The girl said that there is no one named Arjun sir in my college and that Ashwin sir sent her here. Now, the main doctor came to know about the happening and asked this girl if she knew that previous girl. She said she had seen the girl described outside. So, the doctor asked her why she didn’t ask her for the toolbox and told her to ask that girl to bring the toolbox immediately. She said, “I don’t have her number.”
