Evolution of gaming in our lives

1. Level one includes outdoor games which we usually play with our friends. These include slides, see-saw, monkey bars and other things you can climb onto. Also, games like ice spy (I used to think that it was actually ice bice) and out-out, chain cut with friends and neighbours. And games in class like tic tac toe and making boxes and dots.
2. Then you discover that you can play indoors. And you can be lazy. That’s when board games come into the picture. They include cliché games that we receive as our birthday gifts like snakes and ladders, ludo and chess. Chess is compulsory because every buyer thinks its helpful for brain development and pencil boxes and pencils. Uhh… Kids get sick of those pencil boxes and colours. NOT EVERY KID LIKES TO DRAW.
Other games include Monopoly, Life and Business because life is full of strategies and mind games and money and these are preparing you for the future.
Your family buys you all the bigger games which they’d be interested in too. Like carrom board, cricket and nerf and PlayStation.
By then we are pretty bored with board games. You like it for a week max. And then it’s boring.
By then every gadget you find, you want games in them. Computer games like cards, pinball and minesweeper (which you just don’t get). And when u have internet you are told some websites and you sit there to exploit it. Like arcade games, Miniclip and barbie.com.
And the snake game on the Nokia phones.
I am not stereotyping but girls played with barbies and boys played Hotwheels. But many girls claim to have played Hotwheels too. But not many boys admit playing with barbies.
3. You are in 7th or 8th class and you join social media and play games over there too. You Start with games like Crazie cabbie, bubble pop and bouncing balls, blah blah. Then you play Farmville, Scrabble, poker and 8 ball pool. And annoy people by sending them game requests.
4. You realise by then that games are for kids and you start playing with lives. Pair individuals like you are playing tic tac toe (though it’s for 3, but you get the point, don’t you?) . You also hurt people because, what’s better than making fun of someone. Right?
